Cookies, no fluff.
A cookie is a small file the browser stores so a site can remember things between visits, like whether you're logged in. Anka Music Group (AMG) uses three kinds, all listed below. None are sold, shared, or used to follow you around the internet.
Three categories, one that's absent.
- EssentialRequired · can't be turned off
Login sessions, security tokens, the basics that let the site know who you are between page loads. Without these, login doesn't work. We keep this to the minimum the product needs.
- PreferencesFunctional · on by default
Small UI state, which tabs you opened in the dashboard, whether you closed the sidebar, what view you last used. Not personal data, set only in response to something you did. These stay on even if you opt out of analytics, because they keep the site usable rather than measuring you.
- AnalyticsOff by default · opt-in only
Used for anonymous page views, click counts, and drop-off points so we can find bugs and confusing flows. The script doesn't load until you opt in via the cookie banner. Decline the banner and analytics stay off.
- MarketingNot used
We don't use marketing or ad cookies. No social pixels, no ad tags, no retargeting scripts. If you visit Anka Music Group (AMG) and start seeing AMG ads elsewhere tomorrow, it isn't us.
Analytics doesn't load until you say yes via the cookie banner. No social pixels, no retargeting tags, today or in any planned future. If that changes, this page gets updated first.
How to turn it off.
- Cookie banner
On your first visit you get a small banner with three buttons: Accept all, Decline, and Customise. Accept all turns Analytics on. Decline keeps Analytics off, Essential and Preferences stay, because the first lets you log in and the second is just UI state the site sets in response to your actions. You can revisit the choice anytime from the footer.
- Customising
Customise lets you toggle Analytics on or off individually. Marketing is greyed out because Anka Music Group (AMG) doesn't use marketing cookies; it's there for transparency, not as a real option. Essential is also locked, the site can't run without it.
- Browser settings
If you'd rather not trust our banner, every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies from settings. Look for "Privacy and security → Cookies and site data." Block all and the site will lose your login every visit; block third-party only and Analytics also goes. Your call.
- What declining actually does
Decline Analytics, we get fewer signals about what's broken, but nothing changes about your experience. Block Preferences in the browser, the site forgets your UI state between visits. Block Essential, you can't log in. No middle ground on the last one.
Changes and contact.
If we add a new cookie or change how an existing one works, we update this page and the "Last updated" date. Material changes (new categories, anything third-party) get flagged in-product, not just here.
